Here are some questions for you ask your surveyor to help make your decision.

 

How much experience do you have?


At Arnold & Baldwin we have 8 chartered surveyors with a combined experience of 150 years. If we don’t have the answer to a question, we know where to find it.

 

Do you have local expertise?


Local knowledge is a very important factor in accurately valuing a property, but not all surveyors have it. At Arnold & Baldwin, we have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the property market in London and the South East.

 

How do you stay up to date with the latest market developments?


We have 8 chartered surveyors in the office, which gives us the ability to share ideas and information. We also sit on a number of RICS working groups which means that we are at the forefront of the latest developments.

 

How long do you spend in a property?


As long as it takes. If we are carrying out an inspection of a property on your behalf we will give you the courtesy of spending as much time at the property as is required to do a thorough job. We don’t have targets to meet, we have clients to please.

 

How do you communicate your findings?


We can communicate with you in whatever way works best for you, You are welcome to join us at the property when we carry out a survey and all of our surveyors have mobile access to calls and emails, so we can respond to your questions quickly and accurately.

 

Do you have Professional Indemnity insurance?


Yes, at Arnold & Baldwin we are covered up to £5m.
