We believe we pay above average salaries and bonuses. Depending on where you are in the country, there is the potential for you to join us as a fully employed member of the team, or if you’d prefer, on a more flexible ‘fee split’ basis. We have full time and part time positions available.
For A&B employees, base salaries are negotiable and depend on experience. We offer a generous and achievable bonus scheme which is paid monthly with your salary. We can demonstrate how this will be calculated at interview.
We offer so much more than a competitive salary. Standard benefits include 25 days holiday per year and a mobile phone which you can use for personal local calls. We also get one ‘duvet day’ per year which can be used as unplanned annual leave. We all have our birthdays off if it falls on a working day and A&B also provide a pension scheme.
Private medical insurance is included within the package, as are all fees for your relevant subscriptions, CPD and APC training to achieve MRICS/FRICS status.

The role will involve carrying out a combination of private and corporate residential valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys.
Our customers are private clients and long-standing corporate customers, which include some of the worlds most established banks and building societies. We have an impressive client list and drive our success through forging excellent relationships with lenders and members of the public, while delivering a best in class service.
On a day to day basis the successful applicant will survey and value a wide spectrum of residential properties. Latest tablet technology enables our surveyors to make the best use of their time. We are always coming up with innovative ways to improve efficiency and we encourage everyone to put their ideas forward.
You will be expected to manage your own workload with the support of the dedicated booking team at HQ, and work to tight deadlines in order to get the reports turned around in a timely manner. We say we deliver ‘quality reporting quickly’ and it’s crucial that we uphold this promise.
What are we looking for?
Arnold & Baldwin welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We would like to hear from AssocRICS qualified applicants who have experience in undertaking residential valuations and homebuyer surveys, preferably building surveys too.
Candidates with MBEng, MCIAT, MCIOB or MICWI qualifications may qualify for our AssocRICS qualification route.
It would be preferable if you have your own car but not essential. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must, as is IT literacy and the ability to manage varying workloads to tight deadlines.
