embracing the most up to date technology on the market to

, helping shape the profession by providing the technical guidance and
market insights that underpin industry standards.
Having begun his career with a multi-disciplinary surveying
practice in Croydon where he expanded a successful Acquisition
Division and Residential Development Consultancy, Joe subsequently
joined Cushman & Wakefield in the West End, providing consultancy
advice on urban regeneration schemes and negotiating the
acquisition of key strategic buildings. He went on to establish
Arnold & Baldwin in 2007.
Joe has over 15 years’ experience undertaking residential and
commercial valuations and surveys throughout London and the
South East. He is also an Independent Expert, undertaking
CPR compliant Expert Witness Reports on matrimonial cases,
negligence claims, and probate/taxation issues.
A very proud father to 3 daughters, Joe lives in Banstead
with his wife, enjoying the ever-changing challenges of
family life. Living and breathing property, when not writing
articles for industry publications Development Finance Magazine,
Mortgage Solutions, and Mortgage Strategy, Joe’s hobbies include
finding run-down buildings and creating wonderful environments
for people to live in.
Alistair joined Arnold & Baldwin in 2012 having decided
to further his career by joining a progressive surveying
firm with an emphasis on providing an approachable expert
Alistair graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2007
with a degree in Real Estate Management and subsequently
attained full MRICS and registered valuer status in May 2013.
Prior to joining Arnold & Baldwin, Alistair secured a
substantial breadth of experience working within the
valuation and LPA Receivership sectors in Central London
and brings a peerless attention to detail to every piece
of residential and commercial work that he undertakes.
Alistair heads up the audit and quality control functions
at Arnold & Baldwin, ensuring our practices comply with
the most up to date regulation and guidance and promoting
the highest standards in our services.
Originally from Buckinghamshire, Alistair has called south
London home for several years now and enjoys getting out
to explore the city. In his spare time, Alistair is a
keen sportsman and enjoys making the most of the parks
and open spaces London has to offer.
With a considerable and varied background in construction,
Rod’s unique perspective provides him with an unsurpassed
insight into all aspects of building pathology and defects.
Having decided on a change of direction a number of years ago,
Rod completed the Diploma in Surveying Practise with the
College of Estate Management allowing him to become a
technical member of the RICS.
His specialities are the more involved Building and
HomeBuyer Reports where exceptional expertise and an acute
eye for detail really comes into its own and he is inevitably
the first port-of-call for all second-opinions needed by
surveyors for those less common defects discovered out and about.
Dedicated to producing the finest in-depth reports,
Rod goes above and beyond with each case he is given in
order to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Rod lives in South Croydon with his wife and has four adult
children. He works far too hard to maintain any regular
hobbies, but still manages to find the time to support
his beloved Chelsea.
Daniel is a key part of Arnold & Baldwin’s specialist
residential lease extension and freehold enfranchisement
team, bringing his passion for customer care and unparalleled
organisational skills to bare in everything he does.
He also undertakes RICS Red Book valuations for both
private clients and lenders.
Having studied Construction Management at Brighton
University, Daniel went on to forge a significant career
as a residential agent, rising to the position of sales
director for a local estate agency in Caterham.
During this time, Daniel developed a fantastic working
relationship with Arnold and Baldwin and subsequently
took the opportunity to further his career as a surveyor,
joining the team early in 2015.
In May 2016, Daniel attained AssocRICS and Registered
Having grown up in Sutton, Daniel now lives in Whyteleafe
with his wife and baby boy who was welcomed into the world
in December 2016. In his spare time, he loves to travel,
enjoys watching films, and playing sport including football,
tennis, badminton and squash.
Nick joined the team in April 2018 and has promptly become
the go-to guru for all things built.
With a first-rate building pathology knowledge, he specialises
in residential Homebuyer and Building Surveys.
Having entered the property sector in 2007, Nick started
out undertaking Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments
and cavity wall and loft surveys while in training with the
Building Research Establishment (BRE).
He then went on to work as Lettings Manager for an independent
agent in Surrey, achieving membership of the Association of
Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) while developing and
expanding a successful lettings department.
Not one to rest on his laurels, alongside Dad duties and
full-time work, Nick went on to complete the qualification
for Surveying and Valuation with the SAVA School of
Surveying, achieving AssocRICS and Registered Valuer status.
At home in Tadworth, Nick’s spare time is devoted to his
family and young daughter Penelope.
When he does have a moment, he enjoys playing snooker,
squash and football.
Having joined Arnold & Baldwin in July 2014, Tom has not
only established himself as a valuable member of the team,
but also as a sage for all things technological.
Born and raised in Croydon, he brings local knowledge
alongside an exceptionally analytical mind to provide
excellent customer service and is able to turn his hand
to any computer-based task with ease and efficiency.
Having received a degree in Environmental Geography from
the University of York, Tom has a proclivity for
interpreting and producing maps and site plans,
which provide invaluable insight to clients and colleagues alike.
Tom also undertakes quality and audit checks on reports prior
to release and, always happy to help, delivers a friendly
and understanding approach to every phone call he receives.
As a keen runner, Tom regularly covers impressive distances
in his spare time, and is a dab hand at playing the guitar.
He also enjoys watching the odd game of cricket (as long as
England aren’t losing too horribly!).
Having joined Arnold & Baldwin in August 2017, Billy has
swiftly become an integral part of the team and a first
point of call for effectively resolving customer queries.
As affable as they come, he has a knack for explaining
the ins and outs of the various surveys in a straightforward
and accessible way.
With a background in all things people focussed, Billy
previously worked as a co-ordinator and systems manager
for a market research company, however, wanted a change
of path which could provide progression and the opportunity
to forge a solid career in the property industry.
Arnold & Baldwin stood out as offering a fantastic working
environment with a friendly team.
In pursuit of his goals, Billy has recently enrolled with
the SAVA School of Surveying and is working towards
attaining AssocRICS status.
Billy lives in Merton and enjoys weekly football, going
to the gym and is a bit of a movie and theatre buff.
He also enjoys sunbathing and running when the weather permits!
Behrang completed a bachelor's degree in land surveying before strengthening
his knowledge of the built environment with a masters degree in real estate management.
These outstanding academic credentials, as well as nine year stint as a respected property
consultant have enabled Behrang to offer Arnold and Baldwin only the highest standard of
professionalism and expertise.
His commitment to learning and self improvement has not stopped there with full chartership
very much within his grasp - and we have a feeling he won’t be stopping there. With a zest for
his work only matched by his forensic like attention to detail, Behrang currently provides
homebuyers reports, valuations and specialist lease extension services.
Averaging a staggering one gig every three days, Behrang is a true music aficionado. He enjoys
nothing more than playing along to his beloved prog-rock music with his trusty old bass guitar.
And if you’re not impressed already… he used to be a semi-professional footballer.
After earning his degree in sports science at St Mary’s University, Twickenham,
Ben joined Foxtons estate agents in a crucial role across flagship offices as a
move consultant. It was in this role he found a genuine passion for helping people
through the property process, and soon decided that a career in surveying was the best
way to continue this.
As a past alumni, Ben now regularly features in the promotional material for the SAVA
school of Residential Surveying and valuation. The is testament to the fact that since
qualifying as an Associate member of RICS he has become quite the success story.
Ben lives and breathes Arnold and Baldwin’s core values of honesty, approachability and
expertise. Providing Building surveys, Homebuyers reports and valuations, Ben offers a
professional guiding hand and a willingness to always go above and beyond for all his clients.
He is a proud member of his local football team and no slouch on the squash court. Ben is also
passionate about sustainability and as a vegan, practices what he preaches.
Boasting a level three barista qualification, Ben is in charge of keeping our head office
appropriately caffeinated. Little did he know that being a coffee connoisseur would come
with such serious responsibility.
Stuart graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, with a degree in Real Estate, before
gaining invaluable industry experience as a senior lettings negotiator, for various
market leading estate agents across London.
Finding valuations the most interesting and rewarding aspect of his previous role,
Stuart made the decision to pursue a career as a RICS accredited valuer.
Being very analytical in nature, Stuart’s methodical and detail conscious approach to
valuation resonates in all aspects of his work. He’s also never lost his touch when it comes
to communication and positive attitude, placing in the top 20 for a nationwide search for the
best customer service in the industry.
Now close to achieving AssocRics valuer status, Stuart has career aspirations that reach far
beyond with full chartership very much within his sights. Specialising in assisting with
Commercial valuations, HMO valuations, Investment portfolios and expert witness cases,
Stuart is uniquely placed to help his clients smoothly navigate the peaks and troughs of any market.
When he’s not broadening his horizons with travel to far flung places, Stuart enjoys theatre,
hitting the pool and keeping his finger on the pulse of current affairs. He’s also been known to
employ a playful pun and considers himself an eye rolling humour specialist.
Whilst in a previous role as a buyer for a market leading home electronics retailer, Sam signed
up to the SAVA school of residential surveying and valuation, studying alongside his day job to
make the transition to the property industry, engaging a lifelong passion for the built environment.
Sam brings a customer-oriented focus to the team, delivering exceptional service to any task he
undertakes, whilst building long-lasting relationships with clients. He is now studying at the
SAVA school of surveying and looks to soon achieve AssocRICS Residential Surveyor and Valuer status.
Living in Croydon, he has an intimate knowledge of the local area, and shortly due to graduate,
he has a strong technical knowledge of what RICS product will best suit a client, helping them
to protect their investment.
When he’s not at work, he can be found jamming on his guitar, or writing short stories. He's
also a great addition to any pub quiz, especially when it comes to obscure film and music trivia.
Having graduated in International Business from Loughborough University, Tom cut his teeth
working in one of London’s largest and most renowned corporate estate agents - Foxtons, where
he rose to the rank of Sales Manager, running his own flagship office.
Tom joined Arnold and Baldwin at the turn of 2019, wanting to further
his career by gaining RICS chartership. With his big picture thinking and creative flair,
he quickly established himself as a key member of the business development team.
Possessing excellent knowledge of London’s property stock, Tom also assists surveyors in
homebuyers surveys, as well as both residential and portfolio valuations.
He is currently attending the SAVA school of surveying, and is on course
to shortly achieve AssocRICS and Registered Valuer status.
Originally from Brighton, Tom now lives in Wandsworth. Like his Dad, Tom is a loyal Arsenal fan -
having had a season ticket at The Emirates for the past 13 years. On the weekends, there’s a good
chance you’ll find him on the golf course. Playing off a handicap of 3, he’s our secret weapon
for corporate golf days!
After graduating in Urban Estate Surveying in Nottingham, Keith embarked on rich
and varied career in property, that spans 35 years across both the private and public
sector. He is a fully qualified chartered surveyor, achieving MRICS status in 1984.
His experience ranges from 17 years at Surrey County Council, coordinating large scale
regeneration projects in partnership with other public organisations, to managing
his own private development company.
Keith joined Arnold and Baldwin looking for fresh challenges and a better life-work balance.
He now effortlessly juggles providing expert RICS residential surveys and valuations with
raising his teenage daughter. He reliably informs us there’s nothing effortless about teenagers.
From Crimson King to Suede, Keith has an eclectic taste in music and regularly attends
any gig he can around his beloved South West London. When he’s not collecting Bob Dylan
memorabilia, or contemporary art, he enjoys the simplicity of a spot of trout fishing
in the Surrey hills. That’s the life!
Prior to joining Arnold & Baldwin, Nathanael enjoyed a distinguished career at one of
London’s largest corporate estate agents. He was responsible for managing, training and
developing a team of property consultants, with a focus on client management & business
development. During his seven year tenure he worked in a number of areas including;
Balham, Putney and Barnes.
Raised in Canada Water, not only can he guarantee an innate knowledge of South London,
but also an empathetic and experienced hand to assure all clients he deals with.
He is currently attending the SAVA school of surveying, and is shortly due to achieve
AssocRICS and Registered Valuer Status.
